WICT Accolade Awards

The
Woman of the Year Accolade is awarded to a woman who has made a significant contributions to the cable and telecommunications industry throughout her career.
- The Woman to Watch Accolade is awarded to a woman with leadership potential who exhibits job excellence at the middle to senior management level, as well as strong dedication to the industry.

The
Tribute Accolade in the Drama/Music/Variety/Comedy category and the
Documentary/Biographical category is awarded to an original cable television production that best portrays a woman or women as strong leaders and role models.

The Forerunner Accolades for Best Programmer for Women in Cable and Best Operator for Women in Cable is determined by the results of the
PAR Initiative.

Women in Technology Award
The Women in Technology Award acknowledges the achievements of one woman who has demonstrated outstanding personal and professional growth and significantly contributed to the cable telecommunications industry.
WICT Fellowships
WICT offers three fellowships to the 2008 WICT Leadership Conference March 5-6, at the Hilton New York in New York City.

The receipent of the
Cheryl Greene Fellowship is selected based on the applicant's ability to most effectively demonstrate how they have helped theadvancement of women in the workplace.

The receipent of the
Lucille Larkin Fellowship is selected based on the applicant's ability to most effectively demostrate the value of the contributions they have made to WICT and the industry as a whole.

The recepient of the
June Travis Fellowship is selected based in part on teh applicant's ability to demonstrate how the WICT Leadership Conference will help them gain new management and leadership skills and enhance their range or level of expertise.
