Plan Ahead to attend Our Annual Events
Industry Social Hour - A networking event planned and attended by members of various telecommunications organizations such as SCTE, MCTA, NAMIC, and CTAM. Coordinated by Michigan WICT. Generally held in February and August.
"A Taste of WICT" Member Orientation Mixer - a networking event for new and existing WICT members. Will be held at a local venue in Livonis in Marchor April.
Industry Topic Panel Discussion - Key leaders from the Telecommunications Industry lead a panel with "real" feedback and candid thoughts. Past topics include When to take a Risk and When not to, Change Management, and State of the Industry. This event generally takes place in June.
Carla Laufer Award Luncheon - WICT honors the memory of past member Carla Laufer who lost her life to cancer. Nominations are accepted in August and the honoree is selected by a panel of judges. MI WICT makes a donation to the Wellness House in Chicago each year in honor of Carla. The luncheon is held in October.
Annual Holiday Charity Auction - WICT brings in the holiday cheer with a great party for all to attend. Great auction items and lots of fun! Best of all, the proceeds support a local charity that reaches out to assist women. A portion of the proceeds also goes to support the National WICT Foundation. Join us for the auction in November.
