WICT Connects combines the best aspects of various networking platforms, but contained within the WICT space. Interact with your colleagues and share information without leaving the WICT website. A single username and password gives you access to both your WICT account as well as the online community.

In addition to the networking and communications capabilities of WICT Connects, the community also offers you a variety of tools to collaborate with your colleagues, whether they work in the same office or they’re on the other side of the country.

Customize Your Experience
This is your community, and you can build a space for yourself. Create your own profile complete with your latest headshot. Upload documents, pictures, your resume – whatever you like, to be shared with everyone or just colleagues. When you’re part of a group or following a discussion, sign up to receive alerts when there are new posts in the thread. You can even subscribe to the RSS feed so you’ll never miss a post on the topics that are most important to you. 

WICT Connects contains the following features for your continuing professional development.

• Interact with your colleagues and share information without leaving the WICT website. A single username and password gives you access to both your WICT account as well as the WICT Connects online community.
• Network and communicate with your peers and mentors by designating them as colleagues.
• Create a space for yourself with a profile photo, WICT Chapter Event photos, your interests and professional background or anything you’d like to share.
• Blog and share your thoughts on a particular theme with the rest of the community. Other members can reply and comment on your blog posts.
• Join a public WICT Shared Interest Group with your peers, such as Mentoring or Recruitment, or a private group with your fellow participants, such as WICT Rising Leaders or Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Alumnae.
• Garner knowledge and ideas from top leadership coaches from across the U.S. in the Coaching Corner.
• Preserve your anonymity when you ask a question or post a discussion item. In addition to being the name of the community, WICT Connects is also your ally and advocate within it. Once you join, search for and add WICT Connects as a colleague. Send a message with your question or issue to WICT Connects and we’ll post it without revealing the specifics of your identity or your situation.
