In these tight financial times, WICT Atlanta recognizes that it may be difficult for our members to take advantage of all the wonderful leadership development opportunities that WICT offers. To support our membership, we are offering one full-tuition scholarship, covering all conference fees, plus up to $750 in travel expenses, to a deserving WICT Atlanta chapter member. As we go through this year, we will continue to offer scholarships to many other events. Please keep an eye out for these opportunities.
WICT Atlanta Professional Development Scholarship Opportunities WICT Atlanta is delighted to offer its members an exciting opportunity to earn an all-expense paid scholarship to the following upcoming WICT professional development event in conjunction with our chapter's deep commitment to creating women leaders who transform our industry. Qualifications for Nomination:Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 18th. All applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for the scholarship: • Must be a current WICT member with Atlanta as your primary affiliation • Must have permission from your employer to apply for and attend the session (Supervisors of scholarship finalists will be contacted before scholarship is granted) • Must demonstrate leadership potential within your organization and in WICT Atlanta • Must not be a current WICT Atlanta Board member • Must be willing to reflect on your experience with WICT Atlanta chapter members via blogging and/or a newsletter article. Design your strategy during eleven professional development sessions, two keynotes, five general sessions and four concurrent learning sessions. Explore the latest issues with sessions on:
--"Beyond Survival: Striving in Tough Times", "How to Leverage Your Leadership Skills" and "Leadership and Its Relationship to Health, Wellness & Energy Management".
--Learn from top talent in the industry: Brooke Johnson, President, Food Network; Lloyd Boston, Fine Living Network, Host of "Closet Cases"; Joan Gillman, EVP & President, Media Sales, Time Warner Cable and Laureen Ong, COO, Star.
--Leverage your WICT network to get tips, tactics and inspiration to advance your leadership journey during breakout sessions.
--Attend the WICT 30-Year Anniversary Reception.
