Voice over IP (VoIP) is a general term for a family of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over IP networks such as the internet or other packet-switched networks.
Walking us through this topic will be WICT’s own Janet Dianda, engineering manager-video systems services at Comcast. Janet began her career at AT&T/Lucent Bell Labs where she led a cross-organizational team to develop new Voice over IP and multimedia enabled services on an innovative programmable service creation and mediation platform.
