Announcing our 2010 NM/AZ WICT Golf Event!

Finding and cultivating the right mentoring relationships can help you make a hole-in-one with your career! Join us and reenergize yourself! Work with a mentor and make success par for the course!

WICT invites members of the cable and telecommunications industry, programming partners to participate in a day of development & golf.  Open to WICT members and non-members.

WHEN: Friday, October 15, 2010; Registration begins at 11:00am

12:00—1:30 p.m. - Golf Mini-Clinic with a golf pro (learn
and improve basic golf skills)
1:30—2:00 p.m. - Practice/Warmup & Refreshments
2:15—3:00 p.m. - Keynote Speaker, Andrea Chilcote,
CEO, Morningstar Ventures
3:30 p.m. - Shotgun Start (play 9 holes on the
breathtaking front nine)
5:00 p.m. - Networking Reception

WHERE: Loews Ventana Canyon at 7000 North Resort Drive, Tucson, AZ

WHY: Once a year the WICT NM/AZ Chapter offers an opportunity to learn or improve one's golf skills in a non-threatening, low-pressure environment. Participants discuss the value of mentoring on and off the course with industry leaders while learning the game and etiquette of golf. Each golf participant will receive one round of golf including: shared cart, range balls, and goody bag. Each foursome will be led by an industry leader who will share his or her unique perspective on the value of mentoring and the game of golf. Following nine holes of golf, all participants are invited to stay for a brief reception at Loews Ventana Canyon. Enjoy refreshments while connecting with other industry members and leadership.

***Special Group Rate: For those who wish to stay at the beautiful Loews Ventana Canyon, there will be a special nightly rate of $129.00 plus tax. Please call reservations at (800) 234-5117 and ask for the WICT rate. The rate will be available 3 days before and after October 15, 2010.
 

Accommodations must be reserved & paid by September 7, 2010.
