A Note from the President
Dear Members, As we’re making preparations for a line-up of insightful, informative and empowering events throughout the new year, I wanted to personally take a moment to thank you for your membership and your commitment to WICT New York. In the coming weeks and months you’ll receive invitations to a variety of WICT NY events. First up is our annual Membership Mixer later this month; keep an eye out for an e-vite soon. This is an opportunity for current and prospective members to learn more about the organization, get involved with Chapter events, and make valuable and lasting career connections. We’re also planning a series of Leadership Breakfasts, Let’s Talk Tuesday panel sessions, Skills to Succeed seminars, and, for the first time in the Chapter’s history, a line-up of fresh and instructive webinars. In the fall we’ll host our signature event, the Executive Women’s Luncheon, followed in December by a holiday celebration. Our members are the backbone of our organization and we want to hear from you. Is there a topic you’re interested in learning more about or a leader and visionary you would like to hear from? Registration Now Open for the 2012 WICT Leadership Conference!The WICT Leadership Conference is the preeminent conference for educating women in the industry. Through inspiring keynote sessions, innovative workshops and interfacing with industry colleagues, attendees will be immersed in leadership activities that will help to impact their bottom line.
The 2012 WLC will be held on September 10-11 in New York City. Your registration includes admittance to The Touchstones Luncheon, to be held on September 10.

Nominations Sought for 2012 Woman of the Year and Woman to Watch Awards WICT has issued a call for nominations for the 2012 Woman of the Year and Woman to Watch. Two of the organization's highest honors, these awards will be presented at the Touchstones Luncheon, September 10, in New York during the WICT Leadership Conference, held in conjunction with the cable industry's Diversity Week.
