Chantilly, VA - Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced that Maria Bartiromo will be the featured speaker on June 14 in Chicago at the 2011 WICT Signature Luncheon - a highlight of the opening day of NCTA's Cable Show. Bartiromo is the Emmy Award-winning anchor of CNBC's "Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo," and serves as anchor and managing editor of the nationally syndicated "Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo."

The WICT Signature Luncheon premiered in 2010 in conjunction with the opening of The Cable Show. The sold-out luncheon featured distinguished cable leaders and media luminaries who came together to recognize the year's inspiring achievements in support of women in the cable industry.

This year's event will feature media thought leaders and pays tribute to excellence in cable's portrayal of women by bestowing exemplary programming with the esteemed WICT Signature Accolade Award.
