Chantilly, VA – Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced the promotion of Walter Sisson to Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration.
Sisson previously served as WICT’s Vice President of Finance and Administration and has been with WICT since October 2006. Sisson’s expanded role will include establishing company-wide financial and administrative objectives, portfolio policies, and administrative best practices.
“Walt is exceptionally qualified to direct our finance and operations functions,” said Maria E. Brennan, CAE, President & CEO of WICT. “Since joining WICT four years ago, Walt has consistently demonstrated his ability to meet goals and grow his focus areas. We are proud to expand his role to ensure WICT continues to advance its mission,” Brennan concluded.His previous non-profit experience includes 12 years at American Rivers, the nation’s leading river conservation group. Sisson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from Old Dominion University and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech.
