WICT APPOINTS SISSON VP OF FINANCE & ADMIN-Quash Promoted to VP, Marketing & Communications-
Chantilly, VA- Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced the appointment of Walter Sisson, CPA, as Vice President of Finance & Administration. WICT also announced the promotion of Tom Quash to Vice President of Marketing & Communications.Walt Sisson, Vice President of Finance & Administration, previously served as Vice President for Finance & Administration at American Rivers, Inc. In this role, he led the accounting, financial investment, human resource, information technology and office administration functions of a 50 person non-profit organization and served as liaison to the Finance and Audit Committees of the Board. Sisson holds a B.S. in Business from Old Dominion University and an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech.
Tom Quash, Vice President of Marketing & Communications, previously served as WICT’s Director of Marketing & Communications. In this role, he oversees the association’s branding initiatives, professional development/special event marketing, promotion of the WICT Foundation research and public affairs initiatives, membership marketing and industry partnerships with the trade press. Tom also serves as the 2006-2007 Chair of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Marketing Section Council. He was also the 2005-2006 chair of the board of directors of the Metropolitan Center for Assault Prevention (MetroCap) and 2006 judge for the CTAM Mark Awards.
