Chantilly, VA- Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Foundation today announced that it has awarded three fellowships to the WICT Leadership Conference, to be held March 7-8 in New York. The WICT Foundation Fellowships enable individuals who may not otherwise be able to attend the WICT Leadership Conference.
Kristi DeSimone, regional manager for Comcast Networks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the recipient of the 2007 Lucille Larkin Fellowship. The Lucille Larkin Fellowship awards the recipient one full registration to the WICT Leadership Conference. The recipient is selected based on the applicant’s ability to most effectively demonstrate the value of the contributions they have made to WICT and the industry as a whole.
Erika Feldstein, senior project producer with Turner Studios in Atlanta, Georgia is the recipient of the 2007 Cheryl Greene Fellowship. The Cheryl Greene Fellowship awards the recipient one full registration to the WICT Leadership Conference. The recipient is selected based on the applicant’s ability to most effectively demonstrate how they have helped the advancement of women in the workplace.
Sereta Volk, area operation manager for Cox Communications in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is the winner of the 2007 June Travis Fellowship. The June Travis Fellowship provides full registration and travel expenses to the WICT Leadership Conference.
