Debuting to a sold-out crowd, the inaugural WICT Signature Luncheon drew together luminaries and leaders in recognition of PAR best companies for women in cable. WICT President, Maria E. Brennan, and 2010 Chair, Ellen East, kicked off the luncheon by highlighting the strong business case for gender diversity in the cable telecommunications industry.
Serving as the keynote speaker, renowned journalist Lisa Ling spoke of her TV-inspired childhood dream of becoming Marcia Brady from The Brady Bunch.
She then challenged the executives in the audience to educate and inspire their audiences with their programming. Ling also presented one of the PAR Excellence Awards to Discovery Communications President & CEO, David Zaslav.

The Honorary Chair of the event was Salaam Coleman Smith, President of The Style Network.
The luncheon also featured Giuliana Rancic, Anchor and Managing Editor of E! News and Star of The Style Network's Giuliana & Bill, as its host.
