Yvette Kanouff, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Service Provider Video Software & Solutions Group of Cisco delivered the opening keynote.
Yvette received the National Cable and Television Association’s 2014 Vanguard Award for Leadership in Science and Technology. Cablefax included her numerous times on its Top 100 Women list, named her the industry’s “Top Techie” for 2011, and included her in its Cablefax’s “Digital Hot List” for 2012. Other accolades include the 2001 Multichannel News Wonder Woman award and the Woman in Technology award from SCTE, WICT and Cablefax.

Bob is a board member of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA). He was awarded the SCTE's Chairman's Award in 2008, the NCTA Vanguard Award for Associates & Affiliates in 2009, and was inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers in 2010.
The program featured Sherita Ceasar, Vice President of National Video Deployment Engineering for Comcast Communications. Recently named the 2014 Women in Technology Award honoree, Ceasar will took part in a panel discussion moderated by Veronica Sheehan, Senior Vice President of Global Network, Technology & Studio Operations, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. Additional panelists included Vickie Fiala, GVP, Business Operations & Planning, Time Warner Cable; Tammy Franklin, EVP, Digital, Scripps Networks Interactive; and Maria Popo, President & Chief Business Officer, Ubee Interactive, Inc.
The Tech It Out Conference is designed to bring together thought-leaders in technology from both inside and outside the cable industry. Speakers share their insights on leadership development with our target audience of women and people of color. In addition to a panel discussion, the Tech It Out Conference allows dedicated time for leadership training, as well as a guided group tour of select SCTE exhibits. WICT's Tech It Out Initiative was launched in 2009 with a goal to create strong women leaders in technology, while also raising awareness about the vast opportunities for women in cable technology.
