The PAR Initiative is WICT's advocacy initiative that measures the status of women employees in the cable industry based on three criteria:
Since 2003, the WICT PAR Initiative has helped companies improve their gender diversity tactics by helping them to set goals, institutionalize practices, measure progress and achieve results. The PAR Initiative showcases research and case studies that are effectively changing the landscape for women in the industry. The PAR Initiative is a valuable resource for measuring and supporting the advancement of women in cable telecommunications.
In 2013 WICT and NAMIC will once again conduct a joint workplace diversity survey for the next editions of the WICT PAR Initiative and the NAMIC AIM (Advancement Investment Measurement).
