Kim Bondy 

Al Jazeera America

​Kim Bondy serves as senior vice president of programs for Al Jazeera America. In that role, Bondy oversees "America Tonight," "Fault Lines,"  "TechKnow," "Talk to Al Jazeera" and documentaries for the channel. Most recently, Bondy was the senior executive producer of  "America Tonight," Al Jazeera America's primetime news magazine program that provides in-depth stories and investigations.

 

Before joining Al Jazeera America, Bondy served as the founder and president of The Bondy Group, a boutique media production, strategy and executive training firm. In 2012, she also served as executive producer of TV One Network's Presidential election coverage in partnership with NBC News.

 

Until 2006, Bondy was the vice president of morning programming and executive producer of CNN's "American Morning" with Soledad O'Brien and Miles O'Brien. In that role, Bondy was part of the CNN team that received a George Foster Peabody Award for its Hurricane Katrina coverage.

 

Before joining CNN, Bondy held executive and senior producing positions at NBC News on the "Today Show," "Weekend Today," "NBC News at Sunrise" and the weekend edition of "NBC Nightly News."

 

She holds an MBA and BA in Communications from the University Of New Orleans.
