Marisa Mackintosh serves as Director of Content Partnerships in the Video Entertainment Services Group at Comcast Cable. In this role, she manages strategic partnerships with programmers across Xfinity On Demand and TV Everywhere properties.
Focused on developing premium entertainment experiences for Comcast Video Subscribers, Marisa
establishes business opportunities with a range of providers that deliver Entertainment, News, Sports and Music content. Marisa works with programmers to manage top content and develop enhanced entertainment experiences for X1 and Xfinity Stream products.
Marisa also procures content for tent pole programming stunts, including Xfinity Watchathon Week, in order to drive video business goals and build customer engagement. In addition, Marisa is responsible for advocating for content that meets customer needs, including Descriptive Video Services, Digital Short Form and Multicultural content.
Prior to her current role, Marisa was the Marketing Director for Sprout, an NBC Universal network dedicated to preschoolers and their families.
At Sprout, Marisa managed Trade and Consumer Marketing as well as Licensing programs. She was responsible for the development and execution of national brand campaigns and integrated sponsorships for advertisers. As part of the Sprout licensing and Merchandising team, Marisa led the development of Sprout's first e-commerce destination, ShopSprout.com, and the launch of Sprout's first consumer products.
Marisa has been recognized with industry awards including a 2012 'Cannes Media Lion' and Kid Screen 'Best Integrated Promotion' in 2013. Marisa graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.A. in Communications and lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband and three young children.
