Patricia Perez 

Scripps Networks Interactive

Patricia is currently a West Coast Senior Account Executive for Scripps Networks Interactive, representing HGTV and DIY Network brands. Her advertising career started over 22+ years ago at Western Media, as a Media Buyer.  In 1998, she then joined the NBC Cable and NBC Broadcast Sales Teams, sharpening her strategic and negotiating skills, while building relationships with major agencies and clients. Her responsibilities included prospecting new business, implementing media campaigns, and presenting to top clients and agencies.

 

During her 12-year tenure at Scripps Networks Interactive, she has evolved as an innovative media partner and creative collaborator.   She has been recognized with numerous awards, including Partner of the year in 2006, Sales Person of the Year in 2009, and New Business Development in 2006, 2007, and 2015.

 

Patricia studied Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing from U.C. Riverside, California.  Here, she recognized her passion for mentoring and became a student counselor, representing "Project Transition," an outreach program designed to guide students of color through the college experience.

 

Patricia is always on the go. She has participated in marathons, zip-lined in Costa Rica, and has even hiked with gorillas in Rwanda, Africa. But, her most prideful adventure is spending quality time with her family.
