Alicia Black is vice president of content administration and sales operations for the U.S. Network Operations group at Turner, a Time Warner Company. She oversees the content team responsible for the intake, customization and scheduling of programming and promotions on the daily broadcast log. In addition, Black manages the sales team to ensure commercials are correctly placed on the daily log and aired appropriately as sold and booked. She is based in Atlanta and reports to Michael Luzzi, Head of technology & operations, U.S. Network Operations.
Prior to joining Turner in 2014, Black was vice president of client services for Encompass Atlanta, where she was responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by developing and implementing programs and processes that proactively anticipate client issues and advance the post-sales process. She has more than 18 years in network origination experience beginning with Crawford Communications, and over the years she has worked with many high-profile network clients in various capacities.
Black earned an associate's degree in Audio Engineering from Full Sail University. She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT).
