VP, Human Resources - Freedom Region Comcast
Aimee Snead is Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast’s Freedom Region, one of Comcast’s largest operating systems, serving more than 4.5 million customers in areas including Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, New Jersey and northern Delaware. Aimee leads the talent strategy for the 2,600 employees within the region, including installation and service technicians, network maintenance technicians, residential and B2B sales associates, warehouse associates, and professional teams in finance, marketing, health & safety, information technology and regulatory affairs.
Previously, Aimee was Vice President of Human Resources within Comcast’s Xfinity Consumer Services business unit. This team is responsible for defining and managing the consumer product portfolio and strategy for Broadband, Mobile and Home, based on customers’ needs and developing compelling value propositions for customer segments. This team is also responsible for leading the omnichannel experience for sales, consumer lifecycle management and journeys (join, change, leave. She also served as Human Resources leader for Xfinity Mobile, which launched in 2017.
Prior to joining Comcast Aimee spent sixteen years at Mercer, a global human resources consulting organization. Her tenure at Mercer began as a consultant working with clients in the areas of compensation competitiveness, broad-based employee salary structures and incentive pay programs; performance management design, and job evaluation methodologies. She also spent time in Mercer’s corporate Human Resources function, working on the Total Rewards Center of Excellence where she helped globalize rewards practices across the firm. Her final role at Mercer was the global human resources leader for the corporate functions of Finance, Operations, Information Technology, Risk & Compliance and Legal. Before Mercer, Aimee worked in corporate human resources for the specialty retailer J.Crew and she was an assistant buyer for two other retail organizations.
Aimee holds a Master’s of Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She resides in Media, Pennsylvania with her two children.
