Akhila Khanna is based in the London office of A+E Networks, where she works as Director, International Digital Media and Business Development. In this role, she oversees distribution of content to VOD platforms globally, as well as identifies and pursues new business and partnership opportunities to grow revenue and brand reach. Her expertise includes commercial negotiations, digital strategy and revenue generation. Before being transferred to London 6 years ago, Khanna was based in the A+E New York office.
Prior to A+E, Khanna worked in production and development at NBCU in Burbank, CA as well as CNBC in Mumbai India.
Khanna graduated magna cum laude from the Newhouse School, Syracuse University, NY with an MA in TV and Film Management. She earned a BA (Hons) in Media Production from Occidental College, LA. Subsequently, she has attended the Executive Summer Program at the London School of Economics, with a focus on Negotiation and Decision Making.
Khanna is from Mumbai, India, has lived in NY and LA and (for now) calls London home.
