Alix Cottrell

​​Alix is Group Vice President of Video
at Time Warner Cable. In this role, she is core to the strategic planning and innovating
of the company’s classic video products and next generation user interface development,
as well as applications for consumer owned devices including TWC TV on PC/Mac,
IOS, Android, Kindle, Roku, Xbox and Samsung Smart TVs.

Ms. Cottrell leads both the product
development and user experience teams, which are responsible for defining and
setting the video roadmap from concept to launch and beyond.


Prior to joining Time Warner Cable in
September of 2012, Ms. Cottrell held the role of General Manager and VP of Fancast.com,
a division of Comcast that evolved into the current Xfinity TV. Prior to her
time at Comcast, she began her media career at AOL in the programming group and
as a Creative Executive Director at an entertainment group.
