Angie Polk is Vice President, Development at Crown Media Family Networks, home to Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark Drama and the streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now. In this position, she is responsible for sourcing and developing original scripted content for the channels, as well as shepherding projects through all aspects of the production process from concept through final delivery. In her almost nine years at the network, Angie has worked her way up and successfully brought over 100 movies, scripted and unscripted specials and series to the air.
Prior to her time at Crown Media, Angie spent time at Syfy at NBC Universal in Programming and Development, Lifetime, Next New Networks (acquired by YouTube) and started her career as an NBC Page in New York City.
Angie received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Elon University in North Carolina and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and sweet son.
