Anna Geddes

​Anna Geddes joined Travel Channel’s team as a Director of Programming & Development on September 1, 2016 and her role has since expanded to include Food Network and Cooking Channel programming.

 

Anna is a proven hit maker with a reputation for being one of the industry’s strongest storytellers. She has showrun TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress, Bravo’s Newlyweds: The First Year, Ladies of London and Discovery Channel’s American Treasures.  Anna is a master at directing talent, shooting in the field, perfecting storylines in post and developing breakout show concepts.  Her additional producing credits include Miami Ink, The Rachel Zoe Project, and Steven Segal: Lawman to the HBO Family Emmy winning children’s special, Happy to Be Nappy and Other Stories of Me.

 

Throughout her career, Anna has moved fluidly between production and network sides of the business.  As Executive Producer and Director of Production at Discovery Channel, she was a key creative lead in the launch and oversight of dozens of hits, including Naked & Afraid, American Guns, and Dirty Jobs: Down Under.  

 

Anna’s breadth of experience, varied credits and personal passion for travel and adventure make her the perfect addition to the Travel Channel programming team. She has jumped in, boosting the success of the Travel Channel staple, Mysteries at the Museum along with the action-packed new shows, Lost Gold, True Alaska and Everest Air.

 

Anna received her BA in Broadcasting from San Francisco State University and MFA in Film Production from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
