Account Executive, Ad Sales Scripps Networks Interactive
April Buschur is an Advertising Sales Account Executive at Scripps Networks Interactive, representing HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, DIY Network, Cooking Channel, and Great American Country. In her role, Buschur partners with agencies and clients to generate strategic advertising solutions for their brands. She is responsible for generating ad revenue across all six SNI cable brands, as well as collaborating on extensions for digital and print. Buschur has a strong customer service focus and has had tremendous success in developing comprehensive marketing programs and unique brand experiences for her clients – especially new advertisers.
Buschur began her career with Scripps Networks Interactive at its Knoxville headquarters in 1998 as a research analyst while still a college student. She moved to Atlanta after graduation and joined the ad sales team in 2000, serving first as a Sales Planner and then an Associate Account Executive. In 2005, Buschur was selected to open the company’s Dallas office to lead sales efforts for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country in the Southwest region. In 2014, her role expanded to include representation for all six lifestyle brands. Buschur is leader among her peers who has been recognized throughout her career with sales awards for New Business Development, Best Split Partner, Best Cross-Platform Deal, and Sales Person of the Year for DIY Network.
Buschur holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from The University of Tennessee. She currently resides in the Dallas suburbs with her husband, Geoff. She is an avid runner, a passionate foodie and an eager world traveler.
