Ashley Marshall

Ashley Marshall is a Director on the Content Acquisition New Media team at Comcast, where she is responsible for licensing and managing programming content for distribution on Comcast platforms.  In this role, she leads deal discussions with content providers regarding carriage of Subscription Video On-Demand (SVOD) offerings, as well as content for distribution via other Comcast platforms, such as Free Video On-Demand (FVOD) and TV Everywhere (TVE).  Ashley also oversees contract negotiations with content providers for Xfinity Streampix, Comcast’s curated SVOD product.  She has contributed to the launch of several Comcast products and offerings, such as Comcast’s Electronic Sell-Through (EST) service and Xfinity Streampix.  Additionally, Ashley is responsible for conducting deal analytics, assessing strategic initiatives and analyzing new potential business opportunities.

 

Prior to joining Comcast, Ashley worked in the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) for four years.  In the Telecommunications & Media Enforcement Section of USDOJ, she was responsible for analyzing and drafting memoranda on competitor, product and technology penetrations in relevant markets.  She also worked in the Office of Operations of USDOJ, where she helped manage the activity of and resources utilized by all of the Antitrust Division’s Civil and Criminal Sections.

 

Ashley is a cum laude graduate from the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on graphic design and photography.  She resides in Pennsylvania with her husband and son.
