Barbara Kalosieh

Barbara Kalosieh is vice president, national accounts for Scripps Networks Interactive. In her current role, she oversees the company’s network distribution partnerships with the NCTC, AT&T and Verizon for Scripps’ lifestyle media brands – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country (GAC). Kalosieh also supports Scripps’ content distribution business development activities, and serves on the company’s Diversity Council and as a mentor for its Mentoring Experience (ME) program.

Kalosieh was previously regional director, affiliate sales for Scripps, a position she had held since 2005. She was responsible for the network distribution of Scripps’ brands in the U.S. Northeast Region, which represented 20 million subscribers in a 15-state area that included New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia and Maryland. Kalosieh was also involved in the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to build the Scripps brand. Her work has earned her numerous sales and achievement awards while at Scripps, including Multichannel News’ “40 under 40” award.

Kalosieh, who recently relocated to Scripps’ Knoxville Corporate office from the New York office, joined the company in 1999 after working in affiliate sales for NBC Cable Networks. She’s also held sales positions with TCI Media Services (now Rainbow Advertising) and TCI of Northern New Jersey (now Cablevision).

Outside of her day-to-day responsibilities at Scripps, Kalosieh serves as a member of the CTAM (Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing) Ideas Network Council. Additionally, she previously held the position of president of CTAM New York and served on the chapter’s board of directors and executive board for many years. She also served on the board for CTAM New England. In her local community, she volunteers at Farragut Primary School and with AYSO.

Kalosieh is a graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey. Originally from the Garden State, she now lives in Knoxville, Tenn., with her husband, Greg, and four children – Genevieve, Gabrielle, and twin boys, Jack and Sam.
