Batya Feldman

Batya manages strategy and international business development for A+E Networks (A&E, Lifetime, History, Vice) and produces independent (often low/no-budget) narrative and documentary films. Her overarching goal is to connect the very best content with the broadest possible audience; she believes that we should all be lucky enough to see ourselves in the stories that are told on screen.

At A+E, Batya collaborates across functions and divisions, serving as a key resource for sales, programming, ops, and legal teams as they evaluate and deliver against global deals. She provides due diligence support, analyzes workflows and org structure, builds internal consensus, and develops road maps for new strategic business initiatives. Batya previously worked in distribution research at A+E, translating AVOD and SVOD data into actionable insights for C-Suite executives.

As a producer and assistant director, Batya has had films at Berlinale, BFI Flare, Outfest Fusion, the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, the Black Alphabet Festival, and DOC NYC’s Only In New York program.

Batya has an MBA from NYU Stern and a BA from Pitzer College. She lives in New York.
