Intent on using media as a force for good, she conducted a three year research project that revealed how best to creatively capture the attention of audiences, and encourage them to make a difference. She focused her researched on the underserved millennial generation audience, and saw an opportunity to introduce them to a new type of reality television content. Henderson then produced several pilots, and wrote a brand guide to introduce the concept of Halogen TV to her company.
After presenting the Halogen TV brand to the Inspiration Networks Executive Committee, Henderson received approval to launch the new multiplatform network, and was named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Halogen TV in 2008. Halogen TV currently has over 14 million subscribers, and is securing additional viewers through online and video on demand.
