Beth Trentacoste

​Beth Trentacoste is the Senior Vice President of Creative and Branded Content at Viacom Velocity, a full-service integrated marketing and creative content division. She oversees creative and production for all branded content across Viacom’s Entertainment brands, which includes Comedy Central and Spike.  Beth is responsible for guiding the creative process – leading a team of creative directors, writers and producers in the conception and execution of multi-platform branded content campaigns. She also leads the development of original, custom shorts and episodic branded entertainment series.

 

In her prior role at Velocity, Beth served as the Vice President of Creative, developing a robust mix of integrated ad campaigns and branded content across Viacom’s music and entertainment networks. She also spent a number of years as the Vice President of Movie Studio Production for Comedy Central and Spike. In that role, she successfully partnered with movie studios to create original content ranging from short-form to long-form programming, and marketing campaigns that resonated across linear, digital and social.

 

Over the years, Beth has developed award-winning, breakthrough creative marketing campaigns and programming for a range of advertising partners. She received numerous industry recognitions for her work including a Golden Trailer Award for innovation in advertising and a CLIO Key Art Award for partnership in 2014. She was also honored with a Telly Award for ‘Best Digital Comedy Video’, multiple Promax awards and a Cynopsis Social Good Award for the best PSA in 2016. Her work has been featured in top industry trades including Adweek, Entertainment Weekly and Ad Age, among others.

 

Beth graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Temple University and has completed courses at Middlesex University in London as well as the New York Film Academy.
