Blair Krebs is the Engagement Manager for the Comcast Assurance and Advisory Team (CAAT). In this role she leads multiple audit and advisory engagements throughout the organization including both Comcast and NBCUniversal. In these engagements Blair’s team provides assurance to the audit committee and stakeholders about the validity of financial statements, compliance with U.S. GAAP and Comcast and NBCUniversal Policies and Procedures throughout business units worldwide. One of her current project includes an advisory engagement that focused on new customer service initiatives. She was able to provide and implement process improvements including training mandates and enhancements that have been adopted into the business. This has resulted in strengthening customer service metrics.
Blair is the campus lead at the University of Colorado for recruiting efforts of a new rotational program and internship program for the finance and accounting departments in Comcast/NBCUniversal nationwide. Blair has formed relationships with the mentorship program, Beta Alpha Psi (business fraternity), and master program at the University in order to promote the programs and obtain the best candidates.
Blair has been in the field of Finance and Accounting for 9 years. Prior to Comcast, Blair was the VP of Finance for Olive Media, a startup company in San Francisco, where she directed general accounting functions, supervised payroll and benefits administration, standardized and maintained internal controls and financial systems, generated decisions regarding financial and operational issues, streamlined the month-end close, prepared financial statements, created production plans to support the sales plan, and managed inventory and warehousing. In addition, Blair implemented an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system for the accounting and sales team within the organization. She has also worked in the audit departments at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Varian Inc.
Blair received her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance and application in International Business at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She graduated with high distinction. She is an active volunteer and mentor for Big Brother Big Sisters and is the CAAT department representative for the United Way campaign. Blair is a Colorado native and currently lives in Denver, Colorado.
