Bonnie O’Donnell

Bonnie O’Donnell serves as Director, Affiliate Marketing for Fox Networks Affiliate Sales and Marketing (FN) where she is the primary brand contact between some of the most recognizable networks in television—FX, Fox Movie Channel and SPEED—and an extensive group of cable, satellite and telco affiliates that distribute those networks. She also has management responsibilities over a complex affiliate marketing budget.

Since 2007, O’Donnell has been instrumental in the partnership and event marketing between affiliates and the networks she represents. Her efforts in creating marketing strategies and media plans helped secure FX and SPEED renewals. She also has developed successful promotions to support the show launches of FX’s Justified and Sons of Anarchy and local partnerships with cable affiliates featuring SPEED’s NASCAR programming.

From 2005-06, O’Donnell was Director, Affiliate Marketing for the Game Show Network where she created and implemented a public affairs initiative that involved educational outreach, local affiliate events, and local video on demand.

O’Donnell originally joined Fox in July, 2000 as Manager, Affiliate Marketing for Fox Family Worldwide, Inc. In that role, she managed relationships with outside marketing agencies to execute national affiliate promotions and develop other affiliate communication tools. Fox Family was acquired by ABC/Disney in 2002, and O’Donnell continued as Manager, Affiliate Marketing for ABC Cable Networks Group until 2004 when she was elevated to Senior Manager, Affiliate Marketing.

O’Donnell graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in 1995. She has been a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) since 2000 and served as a board member of the organization’s Southern California chapter from 2005-08. She also is a member of the Cable & Television Association for Marketing’s (CTAM) national and Southern California chapters.
