Vice President, Field Sales, Midwest Region NBC Universal Cable

Bridget Farley is Vice President, Field Sales, Midwest Region for NBC Universal Cable (NBCU Cable) where she oversees distribution for cable affiliates in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Farley is responsible for retaining and growing cable network distribution and initiating mutually beneficial marketing programs for all NBCU Cable properties. Farley reports to Henry Ahn, Senior Vice President, Affiliate Sales for NBC Universal Cable. Most recently, Farley was Director of Field Sales for the Western Region, which included Southern California, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Texas. Farley served as the lead contact and support person for various NBCU Cable divisions on business partnerships in key markets. In 2004, she created a truly unique and innovative partnership between KNBC (Los Angeles NBC Station) and Time Warner Los Angeles, making the morning and evening news programs available on Time Warner’s Los Angeles VOD platform. In April 2005, Farley devolved a program with KNSD (San Diego NBC Station) and Cox Communications in San Diego to launch a new low powered Spanish language station. This agreement includes cross-promotional and programming partnerships unlike anything done in the industry before. Prior to the merger with NBC, Farley was Director of Western Region for Vivendi Universal Cable, annually surpassing budgeted sales and marketing goals and becoming a top revenue generator for the Division. From 1994-2000, Farley served as an accomplished Regional Sales Manager for both Bravo & The Independent Film Channel and Universal Television Networks. Farley was selected as the 2005 ”Woman of the Year’ for Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) Southern California chapter and a member of the 2005 Class XII and XIII of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI), WICT’s flagship executive leadership program. In addition to being a member of WICT, Farley’s professional accreditation includes Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) Southern California Chapter, where she served as Secretary from 2004-2005. She is also an Associate Board Member for the California Cable and Telecommunications Association (CCTA). Farley is currently the Operating Chair of the GE Women’s Network (GEWN) Los Angeles Hub. Farley is a graduate of St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana. She resides in New York City.
