Director, National Account Management Synacor
Carla Becker is the Director of Account Management for Synacor, the award-winning, behind-the-scenes tech company bringing top TV programming sports and entertainment to desktops and mobile devices, reaching more than 25 million households. Synacor honors include the TV of Tomorrow Leadership Award for "Most Significant Technology Product," TMC Cable Spotlight "Product of the Year Award," and the CableFAX Best of the Web Award for "Best TV Everywhere Technology." And most recently, Synacor’s Cloud ID Auto Authentication won CableFAX’s "Best TV Everywhere Technology."
Carla carries the responsibility for keeping happy half of Synacor’s 50+ cable, satellite, telecom and consumer electronics customers. During her eight-year tenure, Carla’s clients have partnered with Synacor and delivered next-gen portals, multiplatform content, TV Everywhere, Cloud ID login and Apps to delighted end-consumers. She won the 2013 Sales & Account Management award and represented Synacor as part of its prestigious Leadership Development Team for 2014.
Carla began her career in 1994 at Sprint Telecommunications, working in various positions over the following decade, including working in the Consumer Services Group, Supply Chain Management, IT and Sprint Business Divisions. She won multiple awards throughout her career at Sprint, including the Distinguished Contributor award in 1998. She also worked at Suddenlink Communications, where as its Director of Commercial Sales & Marketing, Carla was credited as developer of its Commercial business line. Later, she was promoted to Director of Operations, managing the launch of the company’s Voice over IP product.
Carla received her Bachelor of Science Psychology Degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. She also achieved her Master’s Certificate for Project Management from George Washington University, and became PMP certified in 2000.
Carla currently resides in suburban Buffalo, NY with her husband and two children.
