As the Office Services Manager at Scripps Networks Interactive, Charlene leads a team of receptionists, Mail Clerks, and a Copy Center Clerk. In that role, she supervises a staff of seven. Within that role, she fills in for any of those areas regularly on top of managerial duties. Charlene started as a mail clerk. Her next step was being promoted to Team Lead. It wasn’t long after that, that her duties expanded and she was promoted to Office Services Manager. Charlene has been with Scripps Networks for almost 10 years.
Charlene is active with the Scripps employee activity committee (WeCan). She has co-chaired the Winter/Craft fair for two consecutive years and also assists with the yearly United Way Garage Sale fundraiser. Charlene also volunteers every week with her church by driving the bus and teaching AWANA’s for the children’s classes. She has successfully co-directed the Children’s Christmas Program for the last seven years.
Charlene enjoys spending time with her husband doing things like playing golf or fishing. She also enjoys weekly girl’s night with her mom doing anything from playing games, watching "Last Man Standing" or sometimes going out to dinner and a movie.
