Charlotte Strong

Charlotte Strong currently serves as Director of Technical Operations for Corpus Christi, Port Arthur/ Beaumont, Kerrville, South Central, and Wichita Falls, Texas. In this capacity, she is responsible for Time Warner’s installation, service, maintenance, and quality assurance of its Voice, Video, and Data products. In addition, she manages installation contractor relationships and material vendor relationships. Since joining Time Warner in 2006, as Director of Engineering, Charlotte also served as the Interim General Manager for Corpus Christi. Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Charlotte served as Director of Plant Operations for Cox Communications West Texas. Her teams completed plant rebuilds, the construction and consolidation of head-ends, and the maintenance of 4,600 miles cable plant. Charlotte entered the cable industry in 1996 as a system trainer and was promoted to training manager. She supported the launches of digital cable service, high speed internet, and digital phone. Through the launch of new products Charlotte developed an affinity to the technical side of the business and seized the opportunity move into Technical Operations. Developing highly functional teams is her passion. Charlotte is the President of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of SCTE and a Board member of the Greater Texas Chapter of WICT. In 2007, Charlotte was named one of Cable’s Top 50 Women in Technology by Cable World Magazine. She also serves on Time Warner Southwest Division’s Diversity Council and actively seeks partnerships with diverse suppliers. Before her career in the cable industry, Charlotte taught school and coached competitive athletics at the high school level. She earned her Master’s degree in Middle Management from Texas Tech University as well as her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. She loves the South Texas climate, culture, and golf. Charlotte has two daughters, Misty and Tracy.
