Claire Hambrick

Claire Hambrick is the Director of International Programming in Global Content Sales at A+E Networks.  In this role, she is responsible for gathering and communicating the most up-to-date information on A+E’s content pipeline for global distribution across all platforms.  She advises and supports channel partners on programming and scheduling strategies, collaborates with A+E’s Global Sales team on client pitches and program packages, provides content presentations for both internal and external global audiences, and measures pipeline supply against major program licensing commitments.  She also supports new product launches, including those for traditional linear channels, FAST channels, and SVOD/AVOD/FVOD models, playing a critical role in planning, rollout, execution, and inventory maintenance.

Claire’s professional journey started in Los Angeles as an intern in the Unscripted Programming Department at Lifetime.  Since she couldn’t get enough of Lifetime, Claire ultimately stayed for over four years, serving as the Executive Assistant to the President.  She subsequently held roles in the programming teams at OWN and TLC, before moving back to New York in 2012, where she rejoined the A+E/Lifetime family in the History Program Strategy team of The History Channel; she ultimately served as Senior Manager of Multiplatform Scheduling and Competitive Analysis across all A+E brands.  Claire joined the Global Content Sales team in 2020.

Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University in Political Science, and a Masters of Science degree from Boston University in Television Management.  She lives in Westchester with her husband and 3-year old son.  In her spare time, Claire enjoys traveling, cooking, tennis, going to museums, and of course watching television.  Her favorite TV show of all time is The Simpsons.
