Claire Kostbar is Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Administration at iN DEMAND, the leading transactional content distribution company, owned by the nation’s largest MSOs. As an HR generalist and part of the senior management team, she is in charge of all corporate policies, staff development, compensation & benefits, internal communications, and all other HR functions. She develops and leads a wealth of innovative training initiatives; engaging programs that inspire, teach, challenge and involve iN DEMAND employees year-round. A recent company-wide year-long initiative was Customer Service University, a seven phase education and motivational course involving the entire company, developed and run by employees, targeted towards building a culture of superior customer service to make iN DEMAND an indispensable business partner.
Ms. Kostbar is a 20 year veteran of the company, having joined the then Viewer’s Choice in 1996 as director of human resources to establish an HR function. Earlier she was director of human resources at Court TV (Now TruTV).
Ms. Kostbar was named the Top HR Corporate Visionary in the 2016 Cynopsis HR Awards. She is a member of the Board of the WICT NY Chapter and Co-Chairs Prime Access, WICT NY’s signature mentoring program. She has been a mentor for Prime Access for over ten years. She was a Betsy Magness Leadership Institute fellow, class XXII. She has also been named a Profit from the Positive Certified Practitioner.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oneonta, a Master of Science from Wagner College in elementary education, as well as a Human Resources degree from New York University.
