Claudia Lanier is currently a Finance Director supporting Financial Operations for Cox Communications. In this role, Claudia is responsible for leading a team of three managers and nine analysts to provide business decisioning, reporting and data analytics support for Operations including Customer Care, Field Services, Receivables Management, Human Resources, Facilities, Rural Broadband Expansion.
Claudia began her career in telecom 7 years ago as a financial analyst and has held various planning and client support roles within Sales & Marketing and Financial Operations during that time. Prior to Cox, Claudia worked for The Coca-Cola Company where she provided financial support to the National Foodservice Organization in various roles, including Budget Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst and FP&A Manager, focused on Revenue/OPEX forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
Claudia earned her Bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University and her Master’s degree from Shorter University. Claudia has a passion for cultivating the next generation of leaders which has fueled her to create training and development tools designed to help analysts learn the skills necessary to successfully transition into leadership roles.
Outside of work, Claudia enjoys reading mystery novels, strengthening her culinary skills, traveling with her family, and helping small startup companies.
