Colette Rubio

Colette Rubio is senior vice president of Information Technology for Home Box Office, Inc., where she leads a team in the delivery of technology solutions supporting all areas of HBO’s business.  Colette joined HBO in May of 2010 as the Vice President of Application Development for the On Demand Path to Air systems and led a team of 70 professionals in the scheduling and delivery of HBO and Cinemax content across a variety of platforms, devices, and affiliates. Colette participated in the launch of HBO NOW, HBO GO as well as the launch of expanded content models for subscription video on demand.  In early 2013, her responsibilities expanded to include the Linear Scheduling Portfolio where she worked closely with business clients to showcase HBO and Cinemax content in new and exciting ways.

 

Prior to joining HBO, Colette spent ten years at Time Warner Corporate where she held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility.  She successfully launched many programs to support over 80,000 employees worldwide.   She worked extensively across Time Warner’s businesses including: AOL, HBO, Time Warner Cable, Time Inc., Turner, and Warner Bros to create strong partnerships and to deliver compelling business solutions. Colette’s last position at Time Warner was Vice President Information Technology. 

 

Colette had spent three years at Becton Dickinson, a pharmaceutical supplier, where she led the IT team on a worldwide SAP implementation and business transformation.

 

Before joining Becton Dickinson, Colette was at PepsiCo, Inc. In her last assignment, she led the deployment of International Human Resource Systems at 50 locations across the globe.  Colette began her career at Ernst and Young as part of the Japanese Business Group and later in the Management Consulting Practice.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Systems from Baruch College and an M.B.A. in International Business from Pace University.

 

Colette is a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute program. She is also a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT NY) and Society of Information Management (SIM NY).
