Colleen has spent over 10 years in the security and safety profession in both the public and private sectors. She is currently the Director of Security Operations for Time Warner Cable’s Southeast region. In this role, she leads cross-functional Security efforts influencing all areas of the business. She provides strategic planning, guidance and support regarding physical security, crisis management, business continuity, asset protection and investigations while ensuring compliance with company, legal and regulatory requirements. She is responsible for the security and risk management of several thousand employees, over a million customers and several hundred facilities. She leads a team of 21 security professionals.
Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Colleen held the position of Safety Director for McDonald York Building Company ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Previously, Colleen served for several years as a police officer for the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland.
Colleen holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Colleen resides in Apex, North Carolina with her husband Steve and their two teenaged children, Samantha and Garrett.
