Darralyn Griffin

Darralyn Griffin has been an exceptional mentor, friend, and mother and in some cases a counselor to those around her. Throughout her 20+ years at Comcast she has held numerous positions becoming a subject matter expert in a wide array of topics and processes. Although she is a wonderful supervisor, her contributions to the company do not stop at managing and encouraging talent, but she is an integral part of many Employee Resource Groups and Comcast supported charities. The hours she is not present at Comcast she spends supporting local children in athletics, her church and her family.

Currently she is a Supervisor in the Heartland Region Finance department, but she commonly has co-workers from across central division region referring to her to resolve problems, concerns and issues. She is the Lead for the Black Employee Network (BEN) and on the NAMIC Detroit chapter programming committee. In her former position as Vice President for the Great Lakes Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), where she pushes members to engage so that they too can excel to excellence. Darralyn has also been awarded the Heartland Teamwork Award and the WICT Great Lakes Carla Laufer Outstanding Achievement Award.

While Darralyn is committed to helping coworkers advance and reach their full potential she also works very hard to help children do the same. She has been a participant, mentor and advocate for the Comcast sponsored Big Brothers Big Sisters of Michigan and is active with United Way and Comcast Cares. Additionally, she chairs a community football and cheerleading league for Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio where she mentors and supports at risk youth.
