Dawn Fitts is a Senior Director of Finance for Spectrum Reach, the advertising sales division of Charter Communications, in New York City. Dawn has been with the company for 16 years. She leads P&L expense management processes including budgeting, forecasting, month-close, reporting and managing day-to-day financial needs for Spectrum Reach’s Marketing and HR/Administration teams.
Following the merger of Charter, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, Dawn’s team was instrumental in the Company’s preparation of the first budget as a new company. Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Dawn had 8 plus years of experience at the local telephone company in Rochester, NY.
In recent years, Dawn has been focusing on giving back to her community. She is a parent volunteer in her son’s school district and she volunteers at health and wellness events. She has served as a mentor within the Spectrum Reach organization, the UB Alumni Network and at WICT NY local events. Dawn also serves as a committee member on the WICT NY Volunteering & Giving Back Committee.
Dawn earned her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo where she majored in Statistics and minored in Mathematics. She earned her MBA from the University of Rochester with concentrations in Competitive & Organizational Strategy and Marketing.
Dawn resides in Hoboken, NJ with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys attending fitness classes, cooking dinner with her son and cheering on her husband as he runs half marathons and full marathons.
