Deborah Cape is Director of Finance for Cox Communication’s Central Region, where she oversees all of the forecasting, analysis and reporting of financials for Kansas, Arkansas and Nebraska. She manages a team of 20 employees and is responsible for budgeted revenues of over $1.2B, operating expenses of $300M and $100M in capital.
Deborah’s background includes almost 28 years of finance and accounting experience, supporting the Telecommunication industry for 24 of those years. During this time she held various accounting and financial roles with increasing responsibility.
In addition to her work professionally, she is on the Board of Directors for the Heartland Chapter of Women in Cable & Telecommunications where she has served as Treasurer for the last three years, working in unison with the Board to develop and implement the annual budget and strategic financial plan.
Deborah received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Marymount College of Salina, KS. She currently resides in the Wichita, KS, area with her husband and has two children attending college.
