Deborah Lamb

Deborah first joined C-SPAN in 1989 and has been with the company for over sixteen years.  She has served in many different capacities at C-SPAN including field production, marketing, affiliate and community relations and management. As the Affiliate Relations Manager she was responsible for the operations of the C-SPAN School Buses, which included managing itinerary development and implementation, staff training and supervision, budget development, MSO marketing efforts and community relations promotions as well as developing presentations to external audiences.

In a recent assignment as the Manager of Content and Customer Relations for the C-SPAN Archives, Deborah was responsible for the content management and customer interaction of the C-SPAN Archives including daily cataloging of C-SPAN programming, aspects of C-SPAN’s online Video Library, staff training and supervision.  In addition, she was responsible for the initial approval and customer service for licensing C-SPAN video to external audiences.

Currently Deborah Lamb is the Coordinating Producer for C-SPAN’s new Local Content Vehicle initiative. Deborah assists in the management of the Marketing and Operational aspects of a team of VideoJournalists/Marketing Representatives assigned to C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCV). She is responsible for the management of the LCV staff on the road and leads the outreach and interaction with cable affiliates and key community contacts for each city visited.

Deborah is a graduate of Purdue University.  She is a volunteer for the National Alliance on Mental Illness for West Central Indiana (NAMI-WCI) Family to Family program teacher and support group facilitator. She currently serves on the NAMI-WCI Board of Directors. She has traveled all over the United States and Canada promoting the C-SPAN Networks and the cable industry’s commitment to carrying the C-SPAN Networks.
