Deirdre Bianchi

​Deirdre Bianchi is Senior Vice President of Program Strategy and Acquisitions responsible for the programming strategy and scheduling of all CNBC’s domestic television content, with a particular focus on CNBC’s Primetime programming. She joined the network in February 2014.

 

Bianchi joined CNBC from Bravo where she was the Vice President, Program Planning and Acquisitions. There, she was responsible for the scheduling of all Bravo’s programming as well as all off-network and motion picture acquisitions. The scheduling strategies that Bianchi developed and executed were fundamental in driving Bravo to four consecutive years of growth and establishing it as a top-10 Cable Entertainment Network in 2013.

 

Prior, Bianchi was the Director of program planning for Comedy Central. She has also worked at Fox 6 in San Diego and Connecticut Public Radio.

 

Bianchi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Fairfield University.
