Dianne E. Earley

Dianne Earley is Vice President, General Manager of Cox Media in Northern Virginia. She is directly responsible for the company’s Northern Virginia-based advertising sales operations in Fairfax and Fredericksburg and oversees the same for Cox Media Roanoke. Dianne joined Cox Media in 2004 as corporate Vice President of National Sales in Atlanta, Georgia. She was appointed to lead the Northern Virginia operation in 2006 and added Roanoke in 2007. She has over twenty five years of media sales and sales management experience in radio, broadcast and cable television, and has previously held positions with ABC Radio, Jefferson-Pilot Broadcasting, Gannett Broadcasting and Comcast Cable. Dianne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film from the Northwestern University School of Communications and is a graduate of the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. In 2007, she was named one of cable’s most influential minorities by Cable World magazine. She serves on the Board of Visitors of the John H. Johnson School of Communications at Howard University and is an annual guest lecturer for the NAB Media Sales Institute at Howard University.
