Dr. Mindy Gerwitz

Mindy is the Founder & President of Collaborative Networks, an Executive Coaching and Leadership firm serving global business in high-tech, Cleantech, Biotech and financial service industries. Mindy takes a neuro-leadership approach to transforming executives, teams and organizations by developing the mind shift, collaboration, and collective genius required to lead through complexity and uncertainty. 75% of all work takes place through conversations. Mindy uses a Conversational Intelligence and its neuro-science framework to help leaders make the mind shift to lead in complexity, developing a culture based on performance and relationships to sustain constant change. Specific areas of expertise include leadership development for executive women, specifically mastering confidence, strategic thinking, gaining visibility, developing networks and stepping out of their comfort zone. Mindy also works with executive on career transitions, stress reduction and work/life balance.

 

Mindy earned her PhD at Boston University. She is a licensed and board certified clinical social worker, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) of the International Coaching Federation, and an affiliate of Harvard’s Institute of Coaching. Mindy co-founded two nonprofit organizations, taught at Boston University, and was an executive team member of a large nonprofit in Boston for many years.

 

Mindy believes strongly in giving back to the community. She has mentored MBA students from Boston University and first-time entrepreneurs competing in the Mass Challenge, the New England Cleantech Competition, and Entrepreneurial Competition at Babson College. Mindy was recently appointed to the Forbes Coach’s Council and leads the CoachCafe! Mastermind group for the ICF of NYC.. Mindy has co-authored five book chapters, three on leadership. She also conducted research on Women in the New Economy. Mindy is fluent in English and Hebrew. Born in NYC, Mindy spent 30 years in Boston and recently returned to the New York area. Mindy and her husband recently went zip lining in Costa Rica, and Skydiving is next on the bucket list
