Elaine McCall

Elaine McCall serves as senior vice president of affiliate finance for Scripps Networks Interactive. As the company’s lead affiliate finance person, she has been integral in managing the growth of SNI’s services to a current linear distribution of more than 460 million subscribers for the company’s portfolio of lifestyle brands – HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country (GAC). In this role, she is a vital part of the team responsible for the  successful negotiation of new and renewal distribution agreements for all SNI services, including new non-linear distribution platforms.  McCall previously held the title of vice president of affiliate finance where she served as finance partner during the launch of DIY Network and Fine Living, and the acquisition of Travel Channel and GAC.

Preceding SNI, McCall worked as a regional controller for the cable systems division of The E.W. Scripps Company until 1996, when the  division was sold to Comcast. She remained  with Comcast until 1998 when she returned to Scripps in the network division.

McCall is active in the cable industry and her community. She has been a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) for more than two decades and was recently named to its 2012-13 Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Class 27. She has volunteered for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in fundraising events, Westwood (Va.) Nursing Home, Hamblen County Chamber of Commerce,  Junior Achievement program and numerous local charities and events.

McCall graduated magna cum laude from Carson-Newman College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  She also obtained her Certified Public Accountant certificate and license to practice in the state of Tennessee.
