Elizabeth Asencio

Elizabeth Asencio, Vice President, East Region, manages the East Regional Field Team, leading major MSO and field accounts within the region.  Asencio oversees the accounts including Bresnan, Cablevision, Insight, RCN, Verizon and Wide Open West.  She reports to Henry Ahn, Executive Vice President and is responsible for the distribution of all NBC Universal TV Networks Distribution services, including the Olympics, VOD, and HD products in the East.

Asencio began her career with NBC in July of 1997 as Regional Manager, Affiliate Sales for the Southeast Region, and was promoted to Director in 2001.

Prior to joining the NBC family, Asencio worked for Starz/Encore Group, first as Affiliate Sales and Marketing Representative and later as District Manager for the Northeast Region from 1993-97.  Before that, from 1992-93, she held the position of Affiliate Sales Coordinator for The Disney Channel where she began her career in cable television.

In addition to her work at NBCU, Asencio serves on the Board for Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) – South Florida’s Chapter as well as Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing’s (CTAM) New York Chapter.  She is also an Advisor for GE’s Hispanic Forum – NY/NJ Hub.

Asencio received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Rutgers University – New Brunswick, NJ.  Elizabeth and her husband Anthony reside in Midland Park, NJ with their two children.
