Emily Dotson

In my current role of Director of Real Estate, I oversee the cable real estate systems, processing approximately $212M in rental payments annually. In addition, I am responsible for ongoing efforts to complete financial and compliance audits on our largest leases. I also manage a database supervisor, the department’s accounts payables and our BI reporting technology.

During my tenure at Comcast, I have worked on several exciting projects. I managed the potential implementation of the properties and real estate due diligence for the Time Warner Acquisition. In 2010, as a part an enterprise wide project (internally known as Procure to Pay) I was key in automating and centralizing rent payments.  This project spanned over every region of Comcast and included over 1,700 leases.  Prior to Comcast, I worked at a commercial real estate firm called Grubb & Ellis.  I was a Senior Real Estate Analyst and managed the analytics and market movement metrics for the Dallas and Philadelphia regions. I maintained the integrity of the the research data, performed quarterly market analysis and assisted in the publication of the market movement reports.  While at Grubb & Ellis, I interacted with over 70 real estate professionals in 4 offices in 4 states.

As an "Army Brat" our family lived in a lot of exciting locations and finally settled in Arizona.  I have a BS in Agriculture Economics and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. I reside in Philadelphia with my dog.
